I gotta tell you guys that it's all pretty easy. I just started doin it this weekend and it's EASY. The hardest part is deciding to do it.

Step 1. Follow the stickied CONSOLIDATED thread steps 2-7 (since you're starting from stock).
Step 2. Instead of step 8 from above, run the new Sprint 3.02 ROM to get the newer radio (you CAN let customization run)
Step 3. Download the kitchen (BuildOS) and update it.
Step 4. Create your own ROM with the apps you want.

I've attached my own .txt of apps that I found most useful to me and everything works. Just have BuildOS open up this text file...you can even manipulate it if you would like.

Load Sprint 3.02 and then Run Customisation and then Reboot and run PPST.exe located in

\Windows Folder its a Hidden file so load it that way

Be advised if you try this and it doesn't work that both copies of the Sprint stock rom available on this site are corrupt. I've yet to find a link to a non-corrupt Sprint rom.

you are correct. You do not have to unlock to run a Sprint upgrade on a Sprint phone.

Have you looked on HTC's site? And, why wouldnt it work? Also, how are you verifying that the roms are corrupted?

I played with the leaked rom a bit, and noticed a HUGE difference in gps performance after running the customization.

Can you elaborate some more on the "qGPS Setting in Radio"?
