Thanks, vin! Is there a way to adjust the settings of the oem S2U2 before cooking the ROM? It's always trying to kick in while sdautorun is installing.

If you mean just so it won't start during sdautorun, if you edit the OEM to NOT put iLOCK or S2U2 in the startup folder, then after flash/sdautorun you can manually use the settings app to create them i think. Possibly add a cab or something to the sdautorun itself to add the startup shortcut as it's last step? ( never used any of the autorun stuff )

Comment out the line in the initflashfile.txt that copies the link to windows\startup, then use the following UC command

CPY1:\windows\link.lnk
CPY2:\windows\startup\link.lnk

I'm thinkin' that should work....Not an expert either, I cook it all in. :)

S2U2 was my first application in learning CAB to OEM conversion(Rstoyguy knows it lol,he helped me alot with conversion learning ).And Im 100% sure that it should not kick in.It happens,if OEM author copied his registry settings into it(this method known as "lazy mans way").I know it for sure,because I wanted to set my fave wallpaper as a endless GIF prior to cooking and it works but just like you said.Basicly its acting like already installed and used application right after flashing(thats why I mentioned its not frienly to changes earlier).Try this OEM (S2V not included)

hehe.. i had just poped in to steal a bunch of rstoyguys oems and saw ur post. besides, with ervius's newest package creator it only takes like 2 or 3 clicks... takes more work to download the cab and post the OEM.

I've tried to make OEM of NCH Pocket Dictation and I get a Hive error when using the OEM. Could you convert this one for me? Thank You so much...

If you check your RGU file it will likley be empty ( or just have [REGEDIT] ). I don't see any registry info in the cab, so if you just delete the RGU the error should go away.

This is all you really need to start it up. If they don't exist, the program should create them...

Cut and past this into your RGU
Code:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NCH Swift Sound]

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NCH Swift Sound\PocketDictate]

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NCH Swift Sound\PocketDictate\Settings]
"ButtonNumber"="0"
"InstallPath"="\\Program Files\\NCH Swift Sound\\Pocket Dictate"
