Yeah i know what you mean... I am currently running OMJ's custom rom... But what i was really asking(even tought i now realise it wasnt clear lol) is that what is persay the diff between Verizon and bell, which both didnt realease official 3.37 roms... Is it the customization it will do or just the startup animation changing?

kinda new to this flashing and rom thing...

Edit: Also forgot to mention that i am using his custom rom and i am with bell... ANd its already working, thats why i was wondering what were the difference and btw OMJ, nice work! Really stable rom and nice apps

1st off, which rom are you currently using, cuz there's quite a few floatin around?

since you are a bell user, ther's no sense in u flashing another non-bell rom, wait till I finish the bell version.

but yes, the carrier specific rom will have the stock settings, programs & animated startup that the carrier stock rom would have.

Hey OMJ, again thanks for the answer. Really appreciate it! The rom i am currently running is OMJ.WM6.1.GPS.Sprint.Custom.v2.exe.

It works really well on my Bell touch. Internet is working, GPS and no crashes. Only Telenav and SprintTv wont work. I did let the UC run (Since i saw you removed carrier customization) I took it from the first post since i saw at the bottom of that first post that we could edit which .gif could be the startup animation. Thats what gave me a clue that maybe i could use it.
As i already stated, i'm a noob with this flashing thing... My first flash was 1 week ago hehe. Thanks in advance OMJ

I used the one posted on the first post of this thread, both the unlocker, and the leaked ROM update.....then flashed your full ROM version for Sprint.

yes, it is the latest....the verizonv2 was old, based on the alltel, I have removed it.

no, there is nothing u need to set for internet....I am a Sprint user but I test each rom I build, currently still using the custom Verizon.....each rom, no matter which carrier it's for, internet, phone, email etc works.....only carrier specific apps (sprint tv, etc) may not work.

the 3 colored screen is the bootloader, which is where u need to be to flash a custom rom....press & hold power+camera+soft reset. go back into bootloader & check your version.

it doesnt matter, if u dont have UC setup, it wont do anything but reset.

gps & drivers will be identical......there will be little difference, more visual than anything.

u need to activate it settings/system/task manager....also turn off battery in quickmenu setting.

I checked the bootloader, it is:
SPL-0.36.0000
CPLD-3
Also tried to load your custom rom on that page, but got ERROR[260]: Connection
Also noticed when I go to bootloader, my activesync stops, and have to soft reset everytime. If try to uncheck Enable advanced network functionality inUSB to PC in connection settings, then I get Failed to disale RNDIS to use Serial and cannot connect to PC until soft reset. Looks like they are linked.

OK, Did the hard reset, and was able to get rid of RNDIS error. Unlocked it again and got SPL-2.00.CoKe. still could not flash the rom as activesync gets disconnected in bootloader.

I really dont know where to ask this but i am using GPSviewer to prime my gps(I am not sprint) and it gets a lock, but i get stuck at acquiring 3d positioning... Is that ok or it should get past it?

On the right track now. I used the laptop, and now able to flash rom, and also unlocked it to SPL-2.31Coke.
Next step installing the rom
OK! touch is not even turning on after the rom installation, did the hard reset, no avail. Looks like second is bricked too.
Another thing I noticed was that radio is still @ ver. 1.59.10a, while rom updated to 3.02. Anyway to revive it?
