Re: Unbricking Vogue / and downgrading SPL
So there wont be any feedback, I just need to wait a few minutes and then reset? I then took the original nhb and load that from the card, and it sits... on "Loading..." forever again. Will there be any feedback as to if its working or completed?
Apparently the 4gb card doesn't work because its SDHC instead of plain SD... |

So this WON'T work with a 4gb card? I'm not sure where I put my old 512mb card, and if thats the problem, I'm gonna be quite pissed.

Re: Unbricking Vogue / and downgrading SPL
Ah, then mine isn't functioning.... I have a XV6900, and basically since the unlocker didn't complete, and then I tried flashing the Altell Rom and and it only got about 13 percent and stopped, and now I when I run the flasher, it sits at 0 percent... no matter what.
When I try to do the SD card from various cards in various sizes it just sits at "Loading..." Since VZW hasn't provided us with an update yet, I am using the virgin xv6900_RUU_signed from the FTP. I appreciate all the help! |

You need to have the Carriers original rom for this to work. Maybe someone can help you using mtty, and rtask commands to get you going. Which is allot more difficult then this method. |

Re: Unbricking Vogue / and downgrading SPL
After the stock rom finishes updating, and it says update complete, do I do a soft-reset? I did that the first time, and it would display the HTC splash screen and reboot, and repeat. I'm trying again, please let me know what the proper step is after the completed update (I was dumb and didn't try a hard reset last time)
Edit: Yeah, the hard reset is looking like it did the trick. Hmm, its been sitting for a while, much longer than normal, even after a hard-reset. |
