Me too! Will report back shortly.

I am uninstalling 0600, and moving to 0800, then will modify registry accordingly.

well... I tried, and it didn't make a difference.
I checked my registry after installing 0800, and noticed that I wasn't missing any of those entries.
Unfortunately, that's not the fix on my end...

Here's the steps I took:
- I uninstalled 0600. Upon uninstalling it, I got the error stating that it could not be completely removed.
- I then installed 0800, soft-reset, and configured my live account (interestingly now referred to as Hotmail instead of LiveMail), conducted an email test, received.
- I then conducted the true test, Soft-reset, sent an email from my laptop to my live account... and waited for the notification on the Touch..... waited almost 10mins.
- As soon as I started messenger (no need to login), I checked my home screen, and noticed that I now had 1 email message in my inbox.

As before, the Touch is not initiating a data connection on it's own after a soft-reset.... :(

I would try after a hard reset without the 0600 uninstall. Mine works, maybe try my rom if you want

I'll give your new rom a try later tonight...
Hopefully ckl_88 was successful with your new rom :)

Thanks for all your hard work on this, it's truly appreciated.

Re: Ghettofreeryder v6 roms - Sprint, Telus, Bell

I've installed this, but sadly my text messaging (Which I use the most) from any provider, come in about 3 hours in the future. Never had this issue with previous ROMs, including other 6.1 roms. Has anything changed in this version to text messaging (I noticed the icon) that might cause this?

Thanks!

Joey

Does this work in P4000 (TITAN) phones?

I have to hand it to you Ghetto, your fix worked!!!!!! =D>

I installed your ROM and setup my Live account. Set sync schedule to "As items arrive..." Soft reset and I noticed upon arriving at the Today screen it automatically connected to the internet. Then I sent myself a test message and low and behold within 2 seconds I get it pushed to my touch.

Ghetto you rock! :headbang:
