So right now my touch has the spl 2.01.0000 but not the full coke 2.31.

I tried to run the RUU stand alone buy my usb ports losses the connection.
Tried in a windows vista and a in a win xp virtual machine with the same problems.

Even when I tried to put the touch in boot-load mode and I plugging the usb cable the message 'Serial' changes to 'USB' but still cant run the RUU.. Communication errors.
Please help

The unlocker needs to be synced to Active sync.

Flash back to stock.

You missed a step in the unlocker process...
Follow the on screen directions close, When it tells you to unplug and replug make sure you do it else you will end up with your problem above.

Happy Flashing!

aarrgghh... first attempt failed.
i'm trying the 2.31 unlocker, after running Activesync 6.1 syncing to a 32 bit system running Win7 professional. All went well until the system got confused about the USB connection. Your software said to STOP activesync but leave the USB port connected. I did that, then it failed. so I've got a colorful screen of color bands, White has the term USB on it, blue, Green, and sunset red. VOGU100 MFG SPL-2.00 Coke CPLD-3
on the screen.

i'm i torched, or do I just need to restart?

You are fine. ;)
Just Restart.
Also during that step just unplug the USB and then replug it back in.

Good luck!

do i just need to flash it to .40 and then flash the stock rom?

Flash back to stock first... (Not sure how android will affect it)
Then flash to .40 and then back to stock.

Happy Flashing!

Re: Unlockers for Custom Roms on Vogue 2.31(GPS) and 0.40(nonGPS)

TOTAL noob here ... I want to flash my Bell Touch/CDMA Vogue to Android, but I am "terrified" about flashing ROMs just for the "bricking" possibilities, so I want to take it slow the first time. (that just sounds dirty... LOL)

Can I use this unlocker and then "just leave my phone alone"? I am currently on the stock Bell ROM (ROM 3.08.666.1 - radio 3.42.50) on WinMo 6.1. I would like, at this point, to just unlock my phone without flashing it... will the unlocker do that? Then I can flash up to something later on?

I haven't been able to unlock my touch. I run the RUU.exe and get up to the point where the phone shows the gray screen with the %bar. But it stays at 0% and after a few minutes a get an error.

I have already re-flashed to my stock ROM, but same results.

Touch (Sprint)
ROM: 3.03.651.4
Radio: 3.42.30
WinMo 6.1

Update:
I have tried on Windows 7 Pro 32-bit, and on Windows XP Pro 32-bit. Same results....
