Thanks
well, most arent free. spb backup works great, and you can select in the options to create a "stand-alone restorer" so that you can use the trial to backup, then reestore with the whateverYouNameIt.exe and you're good to go.
but it warns at the bottom that you cant use it to restore to different OS's or devices, and i personally have never tried to restore from a backup from one ROM to another so...idk if it would work. anyone?

Mostly I was just looking for a program to store my contacts so I didn't have to reenter them all. I have most of the .cab files for the apps I installed so I can easily re install them.

I think I'll just use PIM back-up to store my contacts, sms's and calendar entry's

I'm using ActiveSync with my Exchange 2003 server at work. When I burnt the 6.1 ROM, i re-sync'd with Exchange server, and it had all the contacts.

But if your not, then you'll need some way to back them up.

ok i see what you mean, and ya that will work. i have never used that program before, so i do not know how well it works. but i do know that you can choose custom backup in spb backup and tell it to only backup certain things, such as tasks, contacts, etc. just fyi.

Did everyone else lose the third tab in the Settings / Memory? It was "Running Programs" and is no longer there after the upgrade to 6.1. I only have "Main" and "Storage Card" now. You can still see the running programs using the Task Manager, but it's odd that the tab was removed.

I'm just checking in that everything was working fine until I installed
SCLPF_1-62-FTOUCHFLO-FlashLite_setup_FINAL.CAB (cube) and s2u2 .99c. These programs were conflicting and when I unlocked my phone with s2u2 the cube would pop up.

I tried uninstalling both of these, but to my dispair i can still call up the cube even though i unistalled it from remove programs. Anyone else running into this type of problem?

you need to add s2u2 to the ftouchflo exception list. this isn't a wm6.1 specific issue.
