Are those builds expiring in a month?

No. It should not happen on any of the "newer" ROM's. :headbang:

I hope it doesn't expire. I don't think they will.

Let me know what you think, also which one u downloading. As soon as there is an updated sys, I'll try to get it out as soon as I can, but not sure when the new sys will be out.

Cool if u want any other programs for it let me know. I know that Office 2010 isn't out yet so I don't have that one.

Well - so far, so good... I loaded the ROM, loaded my "stuff" and it all works as expected. I'll play with it more tomorrow of course...

One thing that I noticed (and it could be something network related) - I seem to be pretty much stuck at 1X internet speed rather than EV?

Re: {ROM} Generic Manilla Lite 23563. 4/21/2010

Today, things are much better; I am guessing that the 1X thing was network weirdness...

Few comments I have:

- I LOVE it so far! The ROM is very light it seems (even the download is about 50MB vs 80MB for some other ROMs) and it has all the basics that I want and no stuff that I don't care for. Seems fast and responsive. I installed EZINPUT, Bing, 4 column Start screen CAB, Resco, Titanium Notifications and Home Screen Customizer (as I like it's App launcher). Did not try Manilla yet.
- GPS works great! (am on Verizon)
- I dunno what you did with this ROM, but Internet is really fast! I am actually kind of amazed at the Internet speed. And this is with IE (did not get around to install Opera yet).
- Hotmail working great; sync with Exchange working great.

What I am saying is - I might be using this ROM for a while! Rockin'! :) Oh yeah, when we find Office 2010, I'll put that ohn, but it is not a dealbreaker for me now. I still need to install Marketplace too...

Thanks for the feed back, I really appreciate it. I know I have my personal one set up with AEB, PhoneEX, EzInput, 4 column Cab, So in future I'll make a rom with the ezinput, and 4 column cab installed. I really like AEB, and PhoneEx, if u want to try them out let me know and I can send u the files.
As for internet speed, thanks goes to Woop, and LMiller. Woop made the edits, and LMiller made them and easy to cook in, if it wasn't for them it wouldn't be in there. LMiller has helped me big time with cooking.
I can cook in marketplace, but it's an older version and would have to be updated.

Cool...

BTW - I don't think you'd need to cook in the Marketplace itself, but rather the Marketplace bootsrapper - which then downloads the latest Marketplace CAB. That's what I do anyway, and I get the Bootstrapper from here:

http://mp.windowsphone.com

Which then takes you to:

http://mobile.microsoft.com/windowsm...e.mspx?l=en-us

When you install it, that gives you the "Marketplace" icon in Start menu which downloads the newest Marketplace CAB.

BTW - I also tried Manilla by now. Again, it works great! I had some issues with Manilla in Miller's v13 (did not try v15) but it could have been a Winmo build issue too...
