You need your computer ro recognize your phone to flash a new rom. Computer won't do that if it's stuck on the screen. Mine is CDMA also. Verizon

i am telling you dude i did it today itself on my sprint touch pro when it gets stuck like that it seems it does not connect to active sync this is how i flashed my touch pro today as i was done in by juicy rom

Hmmm. Not sure if it's Verizon, but I have tried it a few times.

Download a rom any rom to your sd card through reader. Rename it RAPHIMG.nbh and reset your phone. Make sure the sd card is formated to FAT32. It will automatically flash any file named that from a regular reset (little hole in bottom of phone)

Tried that, but not sure the format of my SD card. Let me look into it.

Update - It is formatted to fat32 and still doesn't work. Not sure if it's because I am putting the rom on my card through a card reader.

I had the same prob where it wouldn't flash from sd. Then I reformated it fat and all was good. The rom also has to be in the root directory

Its the only thing the card so its in the root. I guess I could try reformatting. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks everyone.

right click it in windows and ckick format

reformatted, put new rom on the SD card and still no go. Damn.
