touch pro "preparing your device for first use"
 
hey ive installed indagroove and energy rom lastest 2x each after i setup every thing i reset and get the "preparing your device for first use" message again what am i doing wrong

If you mean it keeps happening after you soft reset, try flashing back to a stock rom, then flash the custom rom

You've had a bad flash, and they tend to carry over if you just flash on top of the bad flash, so you need to do the flash dance. Most times you'll be fine just flashing to the stock ROM for your carrier from HTC's website, then flashing custom again, but in some cases you need to hard reset, flash stock, hard reset, flash custom, hard reset, soft reset, lol.

bad flash? lol i guess my theory is a bad flash would NOT boot. w/e tho

yes a "flashdance" will fix you right up. i recommend it 100%

flash to stock rom, then flash to new custom, then flash new radio. thats my process
