Keyboard not working again, pls suggest fix
 

Hi guys! I am on my 5 TP, I think 5. Well, this one like a few others are strarting to have the problem where the keyboard will stop working. It works when I press REALLLLY hard down on the space bar, but it will stop working shortly eventually. Sometimes sooner than later. :( Ok, here is my question. The phone is still under warranty, but im honestly just SICK of calling in or going to the store waiting around for a replacement. I really dont feel like waisting time with all the questions when I know what it is. I use to be an electronics tech but now im an IT specialist, so I am tech savy. Any of you experienced guys got any suggestions, or will achieving a solution outside of warranty work simply void the warranty?

Yes taking it apart will void your warranty, and there are stickers that cover a few screw holes so thel would know you took it apart.

I've had 10. Six of which had bad keyboards.

You're not alone. My most recent one has lasted the longest, maybe three months. The front home key is lifting up off, quite a bit. It's tearing the paperish stuff below it up.

They still won't switch me to a TP2. Sigh.

Get on them and have them exchange it for a TouchPro2.

What are the chances of them swapping it out for a TP2?
