Re: who is else is just going to wait for the touch pro 3
Not sure what it might be called but I will wait for the first unit that has multitouch and a slide out keyboard.
I don't see any reason to pay $200 for a device that only adds a bigger screen, not much else and no flash. That damn flash LED is probably the most used part of the unit other than the phone and email! |
Re: who is else is just going to wait for the touch pro 3
HD2 has multi-touch, but I think the days of the slide-out keyboard are over. Most people have gotten used the software keyboards and software keyboards have gotten better, esp. when you have a screen as big as the HD2. As for the Dpad, that's gone the way of the dodo as well, why take away from the valuable screen realestate for a secondary, optional, input method?

Re: who is else is just going to wait for the touch pro 3
Hi,
I am thinking to buy HTC TP2. I am using Nokia e71 currently. I tried HD2, but I still mistype on touchscreen. It is definetely better than previous models, but still it cannot beat real KB and I use KB often. 1. TP2 is not able to search for company name like HD2. Does new W6.5 solve this problem? 2. Does upgrade to W6.5 make any problem with TP2 (speed?) 3. Can I save more mobile numbers to one contact? (Home, Work, etc) D. |

I love my TP. WM6.5.1 with all the buttons on the bottom feels like a brand new fresh OS. I might get the TP2, although I doubt it.

Also, I would hope that they don't take away the KB- my gorilla thumbs dont work on a touchscreen keyboard well at all... |

Only a couple guys had Macs anyway, but they had so many problems and since I refused to help, they had to breakdown and buy Windows Laptops. One guy gave his Mac to his kid! Kid was happy and I was happy since no more Mac krap in the office. I love my policy and love when guys try to challange it! So far Mac is the big loser in our company. I guess it will remain this way until people can figure out things on their own. |
