HTC TP CDMA Freezes... reboot takes back to pre-configured ROM state
I tried searching the forums but didn't exactly know what to search for. I have a HTC TP and have tried multiple ROMs for the past several months.
Recently with the 6.5.1 ROMs I have noticed that the phone at some point will become unstable and locks up. This could be cause by any numerous programs. Specifically today it locked up on M$FT's My Phone during the SYNC. The only way for me to get the phone unlocked is to take the battery out. After I put the battery back in the phone boots but I lose all my previous settings (configured email accounts, phone contacts, etc). It's like the phone hard reset itself and took me back to the moment immediately after I flashed the phone with a new ROM. Has anyone had this problem? It's really frustrating going through this process a few times a day and restoring from a backup, just because the phone locks up. Any help/suggestions are much appreciated! Thanks - grocerylist |

Usually when we have that problem, the guys from the EnergyRom thread recommend that you do the "flash dance." Flash back to stock, hard reset, flash your custom rom, and then hard reset again. i had the problem on two different phones and the flash dance fixed it.
