EPST Settings - Can't Change HELP
 

I decided to change from Cricket to Page Plus Cellular. I was told to *228 by Page Plus and the over the air programming would take care of itself. Didn't work but gave me a new phone number which I can make calls on.

I was running Calkulin's various ROMS on my Verizon Touch pro. I changed over to SSK for the last month. I have flashed back over to Calkulin's 6.1 again so that I could launch my EPST easier through the dialer. No matter what I do I am not able to modify the settings. After updating it just resets and the EPST settings all stay the same. I need to be able to modify them to work with Page Plus.

I did think that maybe VZW relocked the phone and so I did a HardSPL unlock on it again but still nothing works. My port is complete but I'm not able to do anything from here. I had few problems going from it being a Verizon phone to a Cricket phone.

Any help or suggestions?

There isn't a specific one for Page Plus even though they are reselling Verizon. I'll try the Verizon one anyways. I don't know if it will help me change EPST settings though.

if u cant change settings via the epst use a program called qpst it is the programming software for the phones by qualcom it allows u to backup and write any values to ur phones service programming! very powerful tool!!! use with caution!!! and please back up ur phones setting (in tthe program) before changing anything!!

using this program u can save the settings used for any provider and when needed load them back to the phone!!

i use it to backup the orignal sprint programming settings before i move the phones to verizon! just incase i sell the phone to someone who uses sprint down the line! just so there activation will go smooth!!!

Thanks, I had downloaded that QPST Qualcomm program. I could never get the program to recognize the phone. That would probably do the trick if I could get it to work. Sad thing is I don't know everything about the phones to know if I was doing the right thing with it.](*,)

Fixed the problem. Basically I thought that installing a 6.5 rom might work. I used a MightyRom, tried the EPST and everything worked that time. I'm not sure why the two 6.1 roms I was using were not allowing the settings to be updated. I had updated them a bunch of times before so I was surprised at what was wrong.
