the only touch pro I will take over a tp2 is the telus touch pro, which is aesthetically unbranded, as soon as I get mine, I will be selling my touch pro 2.

Yeah, call me crazy, but I'd rather have my TP. I don't see the TP2 as much of an upgrade, plus the loss of the D-pad would bother me a bit, I just use the D-Pad so much, it would take some getting used to, you know? Not to mention the fact that my TP has had zero problems so far.

I don't really need the bigger screen. This screen is big enough for me. The tilting thing is cool though. Also, the fact that you can use it overseas is great, but I don't travel enough these days to justify the switch.

I have had the same TP for 8 months now, no problems. I have played with a TP2, it is nice but not worth me buying or extending my contract to get it. Plus I like my D pad.

I have a TP, I would have gotten a tp2 if it had been out at the time. The tp2 is a marginal upgrade to the tp1. I have had my tp replaced via warranty once because the screen displayed grey lines on 80% of its surface, but the replacement they gave me seems solid.

Ya i guess your all right....... I did have the TP2 for $650 and returned it.....

It just was not worth it to me, being a regular income guy.

My exact thoughts until I had one in hand. A few things that make it a worthwhile upgrade through asurion......

1. The bigger screen, I didnt think I wanted it either, but next to my Wife's diamond..... the diamond screen seems tiny

2. Battery life, these things are the awesome on battery life.

3. hardware controllers for the touch screen have improved, the touch screen operation is much more fluid. Hard to describe in more words than that.
