Touch Pro Keyboard failing?
 

As of 2 days ago, the keyboard on my refurb Sprint Touch Pro has been failing to type correctly. I try to say Hey or Hi in a text to somebody and all I get out of it is "hhhhh." Anybody else having issues? Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Yea I noticed it only when flashing custom roms...

I had that issue. It will continue to get worse...start locking up your phone, and ultimately the keyboard will fail to function all together. Just got mine replaced by sprint.

Did they give you a new TP or TP2?

I have Alltel, and they aren't doing the Touch Pro 2. My TP was only a week old and was covered by the manufacturer's warranty so I got a new one in exchange.

Oh. Well, I guess I'll find out soon enough. I went in to the Sprint store tonight and they ordered me something.

keep us posted but i don't think you'll be getting another tp (but i don't get paid for thinking..).

I can only hope... It's a warranty replacement so it has to be something comparable, right?

I suppose I should've replied to this sooner but I ended up getting another TP Refurb. Since this thread started that replacement died and I have since received a NEW IN BOX TP2 as a replacement. It's been living strong since January 12th. :headbang:
