Delay in receiving data such as text/picture mail/etc.
 

Hello everyone,

I don't know if this is only happening to me but I flashed several different roms and they work great however, I have noticed that there is a delay in receiving my text messages, picture mail, or anything type of "media". Has anyone experienced this? I don't know what is causing the delay but it has been happening quite often. I will send a text message and someone will respond back right away but I won't receive that message until 2+ hours later.

PLEASE don't say that the person didn't text back 2 hours later because i've asked them and they said they responded back right away AND the time stamp on the text message shows the time of 2 hours EARLIER....I tried to update the PRL/ PROFILE even though I don't know exactly what that does but I was hoping that it would fix it.

I've tried turning my phone on and off to see let it connect to the nearest tower....and nothing is fixing this issue. If this has happened to anyone else and you know how to fix this, PLEASE inform me...I find this problem...very annoying.

I am experiencing the same thing. One thing I noticed though was that my yahoo mail that I have configured went from having only the last 10 messages to downloading my entire mailbox. You might check to see if that happened to you too.
