PPCGeeks - I fixed the rainbow rectangle digitizer issue with duct tape!

I too have the ugly oil slick in the middle of my screen and am very interested in trying this technique but I am a little apprehensive about yanking on my screen with a piece of tape.

How exactly is this done? Do you pull from bottom of screen or pull down from top of screen, what signs should I be looking for if I am doing something wrong? How the heck does this even work? I am surprised more people have not responded to this topic as it seems to be a very common problem, guess people have upgraded.

I still love this phone and have it working as good as any phone can so I have no intention of getting rid of it, so if anyone can just hold my hand while I try and fix this blemish on the screen that would be most appreciated.
