I really don't notice much if any improvement in battery life with other roms besides Energy. Turn down the brightness of the screen or install Lumos. Maybe a reg. edit or two. I can easily get a day out of my phone if i don't go nuts with the streaming of data.

I am running an Altel TP w/mighty 6.5...Bat life sucked with email checking every 5 min. Bumped it up to 15 and it is true for me, I only have to charge once a day now. I can use it lightly from 7am to 9pm (less than 10 emails and txt a day) if im busy I have to charge it after about 7 hours (30+ email & txt). That is using the big bat. But I always carry a car charger and a spare bat JIC

I believe the Energy rom as the Screen at full brightness, at default settings, so you might want to install lumos on it, i have the verizon tp and run thing with 12mb page pool, and it works great, i can pull at least 20 hours with moderate usage

what radio are you guys using? the new sprint radio is a real battery sucker so im using the telus one now. what other cabs are you using? im on the battery polling and one thats called battery hack. i was getting about 12 hrs on the august build with moderate use. 24 hours is nuts!

EnergyROM's battery life is utterly abysmal. My stock US Cellular rom's battery life is probably at least twice as good.

I get at least 20 hours with moderate use with the Energy Rom.

1) find a good radio to use in your area
2) change polling interval to 25000. ( search the forum for how to do this)
3) install max's battery tweaks. ( search the forum for how to do this)
4) disconnect data when it's not in use
5) make sure the weather/other apps don't auto refresh/download data on their own
6) use LUMOS for auto backlight dimming. ( search the forum for "lumos settings" to find a thread with good settings for lumos)
7) checking email every 1 hour instead of 5 min seems to save a lot more battery for me

Use the battery mods that are listed in the NRG Forum and Most importantly, DOWNLOAD LUMOS. Lumos, is a godsend. I get 29+ hours on my TP with NRG Roms on my phone. Works wonders!!!

Isn't that a TP2 ROM only?
