A older BB 8350i...

I know my TP has better specs and a better camera but I just love the look of the 8350i and I'm really considering it.

Also, I have Sero 1250 and I'll be losing that so technically I'm a idiot but I just love the look of the 8350i.

I've been fortunate enough with my TP not to have many issues with it beside the occasional freezing and having to do a Soft reset of the device but everything else hasn't given my trouble yet.

I don't have any insurance on my phone either and I have to get a new contract in order to get insurance on a phone so....

Well, ya know...

Anyways if this is in the wrong forum please move it, I'll know I'll have people telling me to keep my TP with Sero anyways.

But honest with the new free mobile to mobile and since most people use cell phones these days does sero really matter anymore?

You won't necessarily have to lose your SERO plan. But, getting it converted so you can have a BB...well, it might take a few phone calls. I put my son on my account last year. He just "had" to have a BB. I have a SERO 1250. He only needed a SERO 500. He needed BES for his BB. That was the problem. It took both of us calling Sprint numerous times to get it right. What they have to do is make it a voice only SERO plan. Then add on the BB service. If you don't need BES, but just BIS, it might be either easier or less expensive. We were told that it would be $20, then $30, and finally $40 extra a month for BES. I complained long and loudly. We each ended up with 300 bonus minutes a month and a couple of other perks. So, you CAN do it. Best if you ask for either the Business department or for a BB specialist. You could also try whatever they are calling Retentions now. You might also consider either the Simply Everything plan at $99.95, or if you really know a Sprint employee and can get both his or her email and last 3 of his Sprint ID, you can get the Everything Plus Data 1000 minutes (off the SERO website) for $79.95 a month. Either one includes BIS. I know it sucks to pay $30 more a month, though. If you keep your SERO, and try and switch it like I did, it "might" be an extra $20 for BIS. I'm not sure. Of course, if you switch to one of the Everything plans (with data), you'll also get the free mobile to any mobile included. That might be worth it to you.

TP to BB? why not atleast go for the BB Tour. it atleast has specs close to the TP.

The texting and web browsing on Nextel's network is by far the worst. Get the Tour.

I prefer the 8350i and I have WMWifirouter on my WM phone.

I want to ask a question concerning Sero and Anymobile free, Sero isn't compatible with free mobile to mobile right?

depending on what you use it for, the bb isn't a bad phone at all. if you like faster web and customizing, stick with the tp. if you want great talk time and hardly any crashes, get the bb. i have both and no matter how long you use the bb, you go at least 2 days between charges.

i'd never trade my TP for a BB... "i've had to many BB's i guess lol" but yeah performance wise my TP kills the BB... IMO anyways...

i went from the tp to a bb tour.. and i'm not going back to wm until they can create a phone (yes, i expect it to work as a PHONE not an os) that i can look at and say.. hmm.. how do i reset this thing? wait, i don't have to. i've had a tour for two weeks, and i still don't know how to reset it besides pulling the battery, but i haven't had to. it works everytime i turn it on, no hickups, no freezing, and it does what i want it to. i dunno... i was so looking forward to getting a hero to get away from wm, but sprint gave me the tour for free as an exchange for the tp, and i was like ehhh, i'll check it out. so i have, and i'm converted.
