Anybody know some of the reg edits to kill the keyboard or better yet the screen? on my third, overheats, slow, all of the above. Sprint just gave it to me and tells me nothing is wrong with it.

I HATE WHEN THEY DO THAT!!! grrrrr. my keyboard goes out but its like random moments and i hate putting up with it. only works half the time and when i took it to them they like nope, its fine! and i have other probelms and they are the same way, like half the time it works fine half its allllll messeeedd upp GRRR!!!!

microwave will kill tp, or flash gsm rom. lol or like most of us, buy a tp2 or whatever you want.

I don't know why you would want to do that. Even if you do it its not like they will offer you a TP 2, and you'll just have a phone that you have to hard reset when its done.

The TP has always gotten hot and ran slightly slow on stock. Do I think its right? No, but why wouldn't you return the phone and get a different one after it ****ed up the first time? Either way I've edited the registry before and ****ed up my keyboard, and a hard reset fixed it. All they will have to do is do a hard reset and it'll be working again and you'll just be more pissed.

However, I posted because you should NOT put your TP in the microwave as I can almost guarantee you you won't be getting a TP 2 soon and then you'll just be phoneless. At the very least just edit the registry, anything more extreme will probably hurt you more than help you.

Well duh im not gonna throw it in the microwave LOL.... but I just got this phone like 2 days ago and its just dying faster and faster... eventually the screen will go out so i will prob just wait till that happens.

If you flash a GSM ROM, what happens? Phone just boots to a white screen or something?

Probably just be stuck on the Touch Pro boot screen and never load, but don't know never tried it.
