touch computer connection problem internet sharing
 

i recently installed a cab to fix the error 67 code. No more error code when trying to connect. My phone is recognized by active sync, works perfect. Here is my problem:
I open Internet explorer, then open internet sharing through programs.
Click connect (sprint pcs), then it says check usb connection. (seems right)
Connect the usb, computer (xp) 'bonks' (only way i can describe it) three times quickly and does not rcognize anything connected to the usb.

It does this everytime i open internet sharing, automatically disconnects me. Is it a computer problem? my guess is no. Worked last week sometime... without the cab for one night. What do i have to change?

Basically, everytime internet sharing is open on my touch, my computer will not recognize the phone until i close internet sharing, then everything works.
Any reply will help!
