How to tell if relocking worked.
 

Have some serious issues with my TP. I put the new stock rom on it & relocked it because im going into sprint tomorrow to return it. How do I tell if the relock worked?

I think you just need to place it in bootloader mode then check and see if it is spl-.0.37.cmonex( (thats unlocked) or has spl-.0.37.00 (locked). I think that is right somone else confirm.

i tried this to get into bootloader mode, but it didnt work

1. Pull out the stylus
2. With the device turned on, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, then press the RESET button with the stylus tip.
3. Release the VOLUME DOWN button when bootloader appears

is there another way? it just reboots the phone.

U have to hold the power plus the volume down, then reset.

doesnt look like it worked. It says Security Unlocked up top & spl 0.37.0000
I used SPRINTRELOCKER.zip from here. How can I lock this phone so I can get one that works?!

Yeah, it always says "security unlocked," just as long as it says "spl-.0.37.00," it's locked.

SO, just got back from sprint & they replaced me keyboard & did the magical hard reset. no new phone, no tp2. I guess I will wait for it to f up again & go back....

that is correct what "jaqual" stated as long as you don't see "cmonex" it is locked, it will always show "security unlocked" no matter what. 8)

Hey Jaqual, what part of South Texas are you from? It is very rare to see someone from Coastal Bend/Valley Region.
