Free upgrade from Touch Pro on Sprint
I did look for this on this site and couldn't find this any where...
I was at a Sprint store yesterday looking at the Touch Pro 2 and their new Android phone... In talking to him (owner of the this Sprint store, who also said he owns a Verizon store a few miles away...) he said that the Touch Pro is the most problematic phone Sprint has ever had and if someone comes in with one having issues (and wanting a replacement?), they were told to just upgrade them for FREE... (he talked about a table full of Pros waiting to be fixed at the local Sprint repair shop, but made the problems sound like software related... saying "if you install one app phone craps out"...) Upgrade for free to... Touch Pro 2 Hero and named a few other SMART phones I wasn't paying attention too... If that is true.. that's great for Sprint Pro Users... Let me know what you guys think about this... And if you find it to be true, works out for you hit a thanks! |

WOW! back up and look at thread above you that says "SPRINT REPLACING TOUCH PRO WITH TOUCH PRO 2" that should answer you.

Yes I looked.... I did about a half dozen searches... and then right after I posted I saw that one you guys are talking about and wasn't able to respond back and say bad things about my self.](*,)
I keep getting "server to busy, try again later" now when I look/post or really do anything... :violent2: Just started to work about about 5 min ago... But yes, I see it now... Thanks and feel free to give me sh#t for it or at least tell me why the search on here sux. I generally go to google and have it search only this site before I find anything useful.... just forgot to this time...](*,) |

Regardless, I keep waiting for my touch pro to break so I can test it. If I'd just waited a week.. I just got a refurb as replacement :-/

probably already around knew this...
but I just found out that they are no longer trading in TP for TP2s... but will just about any other Smart Phone... |

Their system will not allow it to happen anymore as its no longer a "free upgrade option". Key word is FREE. You can still upgrade if your willing to pay for it just like any other time for any other phone. But They are no longer giving you a free TP2 because your TP has issues... |
