Serious tp issues / sprint
 

hi,

I have tried a few custom roms on my tp and have been having the same issues with them all. Currently on NFSFANS 13 build.

Issues: (if any1 has worked through issues, please let me know)
1- Keyboard barely works. when it does work, it might just stop working in the middle of typing. Occurred on STOCK, MIGHTY, NFSFAN
2- Sometimes when the screen is off, the phone will not turn back on. I have to take out the battery to get it to work again.

Now, being that the keyboard hasnt worked properly since day 1, im guessing its a hardware issue. So in order for me to take it back to sprint, I think I have to put the stock rom back on & re-lock, correct?

flash to the new rom from htc. it is fast and stable. and if you find you still have the problems your phone is ready to bring back to sprint.

my phone is actually doing the same thing and the front buttons aren't doing anything either... and i'm getting it replaced

After installing a new ROM, are you installing the same apps you had before? If so, try installing those apps from a fresh cab, otherwise you are having a hardware issue.

it does it without any apps installed.
i will try the new HTC rom. Is it on here or HTC's site?

agree with others, what you describe sounds like failing hardware - if it still does it with the stock rom and no other apps installed, its the hardware.

Ill prob reflash tonight. post some results. To go to the updated HTC rom. do I have to put the old one on 1st? or just flash to the upgrade?

my keyboard was always a little shaky now it's decided to quit working as well. I doubt my problem is the ROM. I am working on getting something new....can't wait ;)
