Sprint Touch Pro GPS Lag, no fix but just talked to customer support

Hey all,
I just decided to waste my time calling Sprint regarding the Sprint Touch Pro lag issue
where the displayed GPS map lags your actual position in real life leading to you missing turns etc....
After way too much time on the phone, tech support couldn't help and Customer Service couldn't change my phone model or offer me credit.

I found it very interesting that tech support didn't know this as a known issue:

I'm curious if anyone else has ever bothered to call it in?

lol they know they just don't admit it because then it brings fault to the table.

have you tried disabling agps?

agps gets you a faster lock but it also is LESS accurate. And will cause enough lag to miss turns.

I don't have this issue on my vzw TP. Garmin works flawlessly.

I have agps on, and no problems with GPS (tomtom) on the TP with Sprint.

What radio and PRI are you using?

AGPS gets you an initial less accurate fix faster, but within a minute or so (given decent sky view) you're going to be getting a hard GPS lock and the same 3' accuracy as without agps.
