yeah and 24 months later that prebuilt will be 24x crappier than that already is than a hand built machine (kudos on also building yours yourself)

I buy my laptops online also, if I can't customize it. It's not worth my $$ (not to mention most prebuilt laptops have crappy hardware, or if they don't, they're overpriced)

Status update on my crappy situation:

I contacted e-care about my degrading TP exterior. The first e-mail back told me to pay to upgrade my handset. I then responded back telling them that I will not pay for a new handset to fix my problems with my TP, and that I just want a new TP. Then they sent another e-mail back telling me "you have insurance, so use it, and spend $100 for a replacement". That pissed me off pretty bad, so I sent them a message back telling them how much it angered me, and they agreed to give me a $100 credit to my account when I show them the receipt from Asurion. Good enough for me, I guess.

I hate how they had to get me absolutely furious before they would give me what I deserve. Such bulls***.
