MyPhone breaks Picture Mail "Post To Service"
Has anyone else experienced this? After installing the new version of MyPhone, I tried to use it to post a picture to Facebook. When you choose that option, it opens up the Pics & Videos app. From there, it wasn't obvious what to do. I selected a photo. From the menu, I only saw the same old options for configuring destinations and sending to a service. Now neither of those do anything. Click the option- nothing happens. So, not only can I not figure out how to send a picture with MyPhone, I can't use the old method either.

go into the "pictures and videos" explorer (on wm6.5, go to your "pictures" tab and push the right softkey, labeled "all photos")
select a picture and push the "menu" softkey and click "share" from there, it's pretty self explanatory |

Menu options: Send Picture Mail Post To Service Configure Destinations Zoom Play Slide Show Set As Today Background Beam Picture Save Edit Properties Options Send to your space That's it. I think those are exactly the same as before installing MyPhone. Jason |
Re: MyPhone breaks Picture Mail "Post To Service"
I don't myspace, or facebook. It is a question and suggestion.......... I have an opera account, it has photo section. When I create a new album, it gives me the choice of setting up for direct mail. It then gives me an address to the album, and when I take a pic, I can send straight to the album, and it can be viewed instantly. Does facebook, and twitter, and myspace have an option like that? Would it help?

They do, but having an app to send it automatically is more convenient. I really don't do this very often, but just a little miffed that the option was taken away. :) Quote:
Jason Edit: For some unexplained reason the "share" options has now appeared. Thanks for working in mysterious ways, Microsoft! |
