Verizon EVDO signal issue

So i was part of the whole Alltel buyout by Verizon, Im having issues with getting the EVDO signal on my phone. I have flashed to the Verizon stock rom and i get the EVDO signal fine with the Alltel TP, but by doing that i lose youtube and Google maps as well as other features that the verizon rom seems to not support, likely do to the fact that the Verizon TP is terrible and cant support anything.

I have the Latest radio and prl on my phone but if i flash to a different rom i lose my signal even thought the radio and prl are remaining the same ](*,). Anybody have any ideas on what might be going on. I cant seem to find an answer anywhere. Any help would be appreciated

I called verizon because I was having the same problem since the merger, and they said they would push a new "hybrid" prl to my phone to help. It was 40055, which I believe to just be the newest prl and didn't help at all.

Yeah, i have the same prl. The thing that is bothering me is that i get a great signal with the stock verizon rom flashed to my alltel tp, but if i flash to say, mighty rom, i no longer get the evdo signal

Verizon supports the Google maps just fine if you unlock the GPS...

Search for PPST 2.01, Install then go to windows and run ppst...

That will unlock it for Google Maps..

Not sure what your You Tube problem is but I would suggest flashing a custom rom, installing PPST and see if that doesn't solve some of your issues.
