I believe that the weather clock is being worked on and is to be released with the 2.1 version of manila R2.0. I read this in this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=542113

Re: porting over manila 2.1.1918
It is extremly time consuming and requires tons of work, not just anyone can port it.

I think you will find that NRG will be the first one to have it as a stable version. When is the question, however, it is pretty close.

Re: porting over manila 2.1.1918
manila 2.1.1918 still has bugs in it. "my location" is now much more integrated into manila, but that is buggy as well. yozgatg (from xda who ported manila 2.1 to vga) is waiting for an official release of wm6.5 with a stable new build of manila 2.1 before he begins porting again. he and i are in agreement to not release frankenstein builds which may be buggy to avoid confusing the masses. some people are still having problems getting "my location" to work with the current manila 2.1 :???:

Re: porting over manila 2.1.1918
I think thats a smart decision....
Porting is hard enough to deal with that makes porting already buggy code simply not worth the effort... I believe the 1919 version Yoz is waiting for is relatively bug free. |
