Carrier Confusion
Hello all,
I just baught a touchpro from ebay. I was very glad that I am going to use a touch pro but my happieness did not last longer. I tried to put my existing sprint number to my new touch pro but on contacting Customer care I realized that I can not program MSID number. The numer sprint customercare is trying to give me to edit my MSID number is not working on my phone. I went to sprint repair shop and there they told me that someone had done really wiered stuff in this. According to them this is not a sprint carrier phone any more, someone changed its registry and all stuf that I was't able to understand. I tried hard reset also but it is not working. Plz Plz help me..... |

Re: Carrier Confusion
I would just flash the new OEM rom from HTC. http://www.htc.com/us/supportdownloa...act=sd&cat=all
Best route if the phone isn't unlocked. |
Re: Carrier Confusion
No my phone is un-locked version
|
Re: Carrier Confusion
Well flash that anyway. You need to flash a signed rom to relock your phone.
|
Re: Carrier Confusion
Well if it's unlocked. Sprint probably tried to put in the MSL and when it didn't work they told you it wasn't a Sprint phone any more. You need to re-lock it for Sprint to be able to make any sense of it.

Re: Carrier Confusion
Exactly that is the problem, but I am not able to re lock my phone....

Re: Carrier Confusion
What they are saying is flash the Shipped rom (found here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...90&postcount=1) NOT THE DUMPED ROM BUT THE SHIPPED ROM then relock your phone go here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...08&postcount=1
