I seem to always launch application every time I take a phone call because my check rests on the recent program list. Beside losing weight---is there a way to remove programs from the recent file list so that I don't continually launch programs?

Any other ideas?

after you take the call. press the sleep/wake button. it'll turn off the screen.

Try Touch InCall screen tweak: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=488991

It uses the light sensor to detect if the phone is against your ear/cheek and turns off your screen when the phone is against your ear/cheek, and turns it on again when it's away from your ear/cheek.

It should work! :)

i personally like s2u2 2.04 ... it has the feature to turn screen off when call is connected... on top of it being a great screenlock... www.s2u2.ac-s2.com/
id upload the cab but he would rather not...

i have the same problem. my solution was to use a rom with the tachi dialer... after you make a call, the buttons get a "slide down for more options" thing over them so nothing gets hit in-call

i use the dialer with curtains and dont have any problems. im guessing its the tachi dialer that Strra is talking about.

If you'd like to remove programs from the recently used list, use Start Clean (attached below).

Just run it from your device and the recently used items should be gone.
