XDA-Devs is heavily GSM. There is a good chance the ROM you tried to flash was built for GSM, which would cause weird things to happen.

I found the ROM, it is GSM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=561158

xda-developers have separate forums for CDMA ROMS.
