Active sync probs , flashing without syncing
 

my phone wont sync up with active sync... so i tryed flashing without syncing up ... that wont work either... it says an error with connection...

any help?!

disable advanced network functionality in start - settings - connections - usb to pc ;-)
see also unlock, flash and even relock your TP via the SD card!

you can also flash without using active sync or the windows mobile device center by placing your phone into bootloader mode manually then attaching the usb cable and then following the normal rom update utility stuff

to put the touch pro into bootloader mode, hold down the power button and volume down button and then soft reset your phone. plug it in to the usb and then there you go.

OR, you can load a premade rom via the SD card. instructions on how to do it are in the stickies at the top of this forum.
