Is there a App out there that can allow me to view
JPEG attachments that come through my e-mail on my HTC TOUCH PRO?

it should work fine. i get pics all the time in my emails and there jpg.

Holla at me man:mrgreen: you need to hit the attachment with your stylee and give it a minute to dowload first, when you see the icon change (of the attachment) then hit it and it will open up...bam:scratch:

Iam with HB, also sometimes after clicking on the attachment (if you still cant open it), you gotta click on menu send/recieve.

yeah i always wait for my data active arrows to turn gray and then i will open my email just to make sure it all downloaded.

I hit the thanks button on everyone's post..

I neglected to tell you guys the error message i'm getting.
Which is:

Unrecognized file type.(jpg.)
tap and hold the attachment to save it and open it using a compatible program.

what compatible program is there...

thats weird because i get jpg's all the time and i just save them. then go in file explorer and just tap it. opens right up. try opening the file on a computer. see if that works.
what rom are you using?

I was trying to open the attachment without having to
save it..

I using the default ROM.

Are you using TCPMP on your phone?

I think that's the program that allows you to open a JPG without having to save it.

i dont think so. im pretty sure im using whatever the htc/windows uses as the default

the only time i saw a message like that is when the file wasnt supported. thats why i said try it on a computer. it might be a corrupt file
