Data at 1x problem. Help!
 

I flashed to the new Energy rom and now my data is stuck at 1x. I cant get any evdo. Ive never had this problem before.

I tried changing my radio from Telus 1.04 to the Sprint 1.12. I tried changing my PRL from 60650 to 60652. But had had no luck. ](*,):protest:

My Radio right now is Sprint 1.12.34F
My PRL right now is 60652
My PRI right now is 1.47_003

Ive flashed this rom plenty of times previously and never had any problem. I did a hard reset after i flashed as well.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance! =D>

Ok, reflashed to stock.

PRL is 60613
PRI is 1.53
Radio is 1.03.15f

Still only showing data at 1x. How do I get back to evdo? /cry

do the PRL update, should go to 60653
search for PRI update, there's a cab file for 2.34_003
also for flashing a new radio, 1.12.34F

U gotta update ur profile to provision ur data. It's on the settings. If U cannot update, U messed up ur aaa shared key. If u mess that up, U cannot authenticate ur evdo. Check on ##debug# then chose hdr. see on the very botton if it's authenticated or failed.

while the above is worth while, I believe you need to 'update profile' to fix the problem.

Ok, I checked the ##debug# HDR screen beside aaa auth is says 71 =71 =71

I check all over settings and cant find where I need to go to update my profile to provision my data. Can you (or someone) please tell me where i need to go in settings to update my profile? I am now on the newest energy rom.

it should be in settings > system > update profile

Custom roms does not have update profile on settings. Grap that one shaggy is giving u. Plus on debug, U go to the bottom left. It says debug info. tap that and choose hdr. On the very bottom U will see AN/aaa. It has to be 1=authenticated.

i had the same exact issue with the same rom. you need to reflash to stock the back to nrg. then ##debug#, edit and i think reset. anyone correct me as i forgot how to reset the profile. But i do know installing a prl.cab or carrier.cab wont fix the issue

Ok I tried updating the profile but it says there is nothing to update. Im totally stuck now.

click Edit,
enter MSL (search for "BAF MSL Grabber"),
click menu - Restore
click OK
click OK to reset the device

then you should be able to update your profile.

Ok. I was able to reset the profile on the phone. However that didnt fix the problem. Here is where I stand right now:

I am on the stock rom
radio 1.03.15f
PRL: 60653
PRI: 1.53_003

There are 2 strange things happening here. On the status bar at the top of the screen is shows 1x (for data of course) and there is another wierd icon that says I am roaming. However Ive never had to roam from my house before. Even when I drove some errands tonight. My phone never left the roaming state.

Could it be that my issue is because somehow i'm stuck in a roaming state and thats why it is only at 1x?

Ok, I think I have it fixed. Im flashing Energyrom now....

I went into the phone roaming settings and there were 2 options Sprint only and automatic. However niether of them were checked (which is bizarre). I checked sprint only and the roaming icon went away and the evdo came back.

If had had noticed the damn roaming icon earlier when i was making calls this would have never gotten this far... arghhhhh....

Hopefully the problem is solved. Thank you to everyone for your help.

I had the same problem. For me, the fix was under Settings --> Personal --> Phone --> Mode of Operation.

The options were Hybrid, EVDO only, and 1X only. Mine was set to 1X only, and changing it to Hybrid fixed it for me.

I'm having the same problem and when I looked at the info it doesn't have anything it say N/A any help touch pro energy rom thanks
