You sure can just download PIMBackup from here, this little app has an option to delete all your contacts just extract the app from the zip folder and run it, click OPTIONS--DELETE ALL-- CONTACTS, and you are good to go, PIMBackup has many other functions.

You can also do a select all while in contacts and then select delete contacts. I did that just yesterday.

I have the TP2 w/ WinMo 6.5 and there is no such menu option. Still searching for an answer :angry7:

you can also delete the pim file in the root of the phone. best to back up. using total commander you can delete and replace this file.

correction, total commander will not delete the pim file.

i tried making a blank pim file using windows and renamed it pim.vol and replaced the one on the phone with that one but it seems to have thrown everything off in my phone (nfsfans rom). after that i had to do a hardreset.

there are other options but it seems like the fastest way to do this is mentioned above.

lol it wasn't that bad for me, i was expecting it to just clear my contacts, not require a hard reset but i have everything on an exchange server and just had to do a reflash this morning so nothing was really lost. but thanks for the thanks!

Not all roms are the same....People seem to forget this when answering people's questions....Different rom chefs include different options in their roms and delete/don't include certain options.

You should be able to just rename the file, and then delete it...soft reset, and then it should be a done deal. Keywords should be...
Sometimes you have to go to properties and make sure some of the attributes are turned off.

Are you able to 'reflash' the unit restoring an image? All installed applications, settings, contacts...?? An actual image backup? If so, tell me more...

I ended up installing SKTools and that allowed me to delete them in one swipe. Thank god for 3rd party tools. Can't expect much from M$.
