alternative ways to power on?
 

I have a touch pro, and the power button is messed up, it looks fine but i have to basically get lucky to get it turned on,

anyone have alternatives ways to power it on?

by default, sliding the keyboard open should turn it on
if you're talking about turning it on from completely powered down, pushing the soft reset button turns it on

with the Touch Pro completely off, the reset button won't turn it on :/

I think you could change the function of the camera button to become your power button. If you go from the Start Menu to Settings/System/Buttons and see if you can change it. Dunno.

Well, you could try pulling the battery out then reinstalling . Then push the power button in and jiggle it a little. Sucks if this is a hardware issue. I worry about the one on my Vogue crappin out too but so far it's ok. :(

well i tried leaving the battery out for awhile, still no luck
and ill try the jiggling thing,
i really need my phone for tomorrow :(
