Can't get internet to work on brand new phone.
 

Hey I just got a new factory refurbished TP (this is my 7th one since January - talk about bad luck with hardware!) and need some help big time!

I used Sprint.com's Activate A New Phone functionality to swap this new phone for my broken one and got phone calls working fine. But I can't get any data connectivity... Last nite I was trying this with the stock Sprint ROM and couldn't get anything so I thought maybe it just needed some time. It never ended up working though. In the mean time, playing with it, I ended up flashing the phone with it with MightyROM6 and still no internet... I think WiFi works but not Sprint's connection..

Any ideas?

Did you try ##DATA#. Make sure your active profile is set to 1?
And update Profile?

im having a similar problem and my profile is 0.

Go to settings>systems tab>run update profile. And that should do it.

My profile was set to 0 but changing it didn't do anything. And in the ROM I was using MightyROM6, there is no Sprint applications so how do you do the Update Profile functions manually?

Call sprint n they will walk u thru it manually. Just tell them profile update isnt working,
