Remote desktop problem
I have looked over some of the posts and I still can't find a solution. I have a pc on my home network that has remote connections enabled. I am able to remote into it from another pc on the home network. I turn on wifi and get an ip address on my home network. When I open remote desktop, there are no pc's listed in the dropdown box. I enter the pc name manually and the login credentials and tap connect. It just sits there and never connects. Any ideas what to do next?

Re: Remote desktop problem
ive always used ZADESKTOP for my remote desktop connection, i find it way better than the one cooked into most roms, just make sure you have a username and password setup on the pc u want to connect to and then enter its lan ip into your phone, the rest is pretty self explanitory, 600x480 looks the best since its our native resolution

Re: Remote desktop problem
You won't see a PC list in RDC client because it doesn't scan the active network for netbios names. The reason you see a name in there sometimes is that once you connect to a computer the program on the mobile device caches the name, but that's not important. Have you tried connecting by IP address instead of machine name? i.e., 192.168.0.N or whatever private subnet your home network uses?
