Touch Pro Screen Issues

Hey hows it going everybody? Love the fourms. Just flashed my cdma us cellular touch pro to the mightyrom. Thanks everyone for all the hard work. I plan on donating especially to the hardspl team.

Anyway a couple days ago(before I flashed the rom) I started having problems with it. This all happened overnight while charging. First touchflo3d crashed(Missed waking up for work):disgust:. Then the battery wouldn't charge(when turned on). Then my screen is bright but when I use the touch screen it dims then gets brighter. Eventually I turned it off and it finally charged.

Did a hard reset same screen issue. Flashed rom same thing. As far as I can tell It only does it when I use the touch screen. If i use the pad everything is still nice and bright. Going to try a game later to make sure. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. Tried searching the forum but didn't find anything. The phone is only 2 months old and bought it new off ebay. HTC prolly doesn't rma? Eventually will my screen go out and be ****ed? Any input would be nice.

Re: Touch Pro Screen Issues

Well i had some simmlar probs. i found that in the settings for touch flo u can keep today from timeingout that should help with the chargeing problem.Look under settings>system>power>backlight there is the opion to let auto adjust which would be why it dims then lights back up the light sensor is reading the light around u.

Re: Touch Pro Screen Issues

Hey thanks for the reply. I got the power issue resolved. I unchecked the auto adjust dimlight and it helped a little bit however whenever I push down on the screen it still dims. If i push down hard and hold it the screen will go to a blank gray:angry7:. I tried playing a game with just the keyboard and it doesn't dim at all unless I touch the screen. Think my display is going bad?
