is there a way to get my tp to hold my yahoo pasword and check

not sure what you mean by"check" but i use yahoo on my tp.

If your running one of the Manila 2.X roms and program the email via Email Setup Wizard (Manila new account) You don't even have to enter server info to use Yahoo...just put emails adress and pasword, check save PW and it automatically configs...

If you wish to do it manually you need to select imap and use
incoming: imap.mail.yahoo.com
outgoing: smtp.mobile.yahoo.com

enable send auth and use same user:pass as incoming.

try this cab and just follow the prompts. i was trying to take a screen shot but cant get my screen shot to work

Yea that mobile email setup works great for any major email provider if your on Sprint. It pushes the email to your phone using Seven. Its pretty sweet. I used it before I setup a exchange server.

Yahoo email has been smooth as silk on the TP.

did OP figure this out??? does he mean the actual setup process or does he mean the periodic popup of prompts to enter pword and add...

if thats the case always hit cancel when that pops up... thats spam and "phishing"
