search sucking

OK, so i am not sure but every time i search anything nothing is hardly relevant especially when it pulls up a ROM with 1200 pages on it. any tips on searching :violent2:

I have a touch pro, so that should make this relevant to this category.

try using tag words instead of just touch pro. for example, if i want the diamond tweak, i just search diamond tweak cab and it pops right up.

Re: search sucking

use the "titles only" from the dropdown box right below where u put your search terms..

or

you can also select "show posts" its "show threads" by default... this will give you results showing exactly where your search term is located... now if your search term is only used once, in say a 1200page thread, youll only see that one post

i dont search "ppcgeeks" but i do put PPC after any google search as suggested above... this way you usually get all the XDA hits as well...
