Please help - keyboard suddently just stops working
 

No button on my keyboard works (even capital/fn) as of a few days ago from what seems like complete randomnes...

I've tried restarting my phone, taking out the battery, and reflashing NRG rom. Could it be the rom? or is it a physical issue?

I know there's a sticky on this issue above, but it seems a bit dangerous. Is it really my last resort?


I dont have a warranty on my phone. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

I don't know if this will help in your case, but I read previously that the connection to the keyboard is under the space bar. I read that you should remove the battery and then press the space bar down hard for a few seconds. I had keyboard problems and tried this fix. This worked for me. Hope this helps!

maybe sprint will still fix it seeing that it should be a known issue. mine was like that where somedays it worked and then didn't before dying completely. but i would advise getting tep, it can be a life-saver!
