Windows 7 RTM and JUICY 072308H
 

Is it my phone or is anybody else having problems using activesync and Windows 7 RTM.

The options that pop up are: active, disk drive, internet sharing but out all three I can't activesync. I hear the 'bing' sound like it's going to work but it never 'connects' though the charging works fine.

I plugged my brother's Pro that is untouched with the latest official Sprint ROM and it connects just fine.

Also is it just JUICY's rom doing this or are other modded ROMS not being recognized by Windows 7 .

JUICY's rom sync'ed fine with Vista and XP, it could be just by phone but since I don't have Vista and XP loaded anymore I can't test activesync function anymore.

I wished Windows 7 were named Windows Ventana or something other than Windows 7. Searching is retarded when everything has Windows in it and '7' is not searchable ](*,)

have you tried soft-resetting your phone? i have win7 rtm and i was able to connect my pro with juicy with no problem... weird. yeah, try rebooting your computer and soft-resetting your phone

You do realize that for windows 7 is no longer activesync, it is now windows mobile device center and it can be downloaded at the link provided. Also make sure you have done the following on your phone
START,SETTINGS,CONNECTIONS,USB TO PC,MAKE SURE ACTIVE SYNC IS TURNED ON , ALSO WHERE IT SAYS AT THE BOTTOM ASK ME FIRST ABOUT USB CONNECTION TYPE ETC.
YOU CAN PLAY WITH TURNING ON/OFF ENABLE FASTER DATA CONNECTION ON MY END I HAVE IT ON BUT ON PREVIOUS WINDOWS VERSION I HAD TO TURN IT OFF IN ORDER TO GET IT TO WORK CORRECTLY

oh ok, thanks for the info, now I'm leaning more towards my phone.

I'll load the official Sprint ROM or do a second partition with either Vista/XP and see if my phone still doesn't connect.

I have Windows 7 on my dad's computer and my computer (both my laptop and desktop) and all three can sync with my phone. (running SsS's 209 ROM)

EnergyROM Genesis here with W7 Ultimate x64. Everyting OK.
