I opened the exe with 7zip as if it was a zip or rar file. I was able to extract the nbh, rename it, and copy it to the card. I'm starting to think I have a hardware problem. Yesterday morning I noticed the headphones icon disappeared and the phone worked normally. But this morning it was acting up again. I checked the port and it looks like part of the connector may be bent. If I can't get it working reliably within the next day or two I'll have to bite the bullet and get it replaced.
