File As Contacts Last Name First Change
 

I remember when I first got my HTC that there was a way to change it so it files the contacts First Name first instead of last name first then first name. I been fooling around with the phone for 20 minutes and can not seem to find it. Did this setting even exist or did I dream it? If there is a way someone please enlighten me. I don't want to go and change it for over 168 contacts manually thanks.

I remember when i couldn't find that too and I was so frustrated, especially when it would be a business. Example: the chinese restaurant is "Chen's Garden" but it came out "Garden, Chen's" lol

Let's go one farther.

I'm using Google Sync right now. When the contacts get auto-updated they're forced into Last name first, using shubaroo's contact fix doesn't stick because once it's updated they get reversed again... Suggestions?

Hunt down the "Google Sync Programmer" and force him to change the format or else....lol 8)

I place in the first name line: first name, last name and company name - all in one line. Searches work well that way.
