Split screen?

Is there a program that will allow you to view 2 running programs side by side? This would be really handy, especially using TV out (I realize things will be probably be tiny).

If not, and someone can build one, make sure to have a zoom function, just in case!

That's not asking too much, is it? :drunken:

Re: Split screen?

thanks. This isn't what I was looking for. I want to be able to work in both applications at the same time without swtiching screens. It looks like this just brings up an image/snapshot of running programs but no access to them unless you bring that application to the front.

I want to look at and use 2 programs at the same time. For instance, Telenav on the left half of the screen and Kinoma on the right. I can access all of the kinoma features but both programs stay on the screen the entire time.

not going to happen. been on this board for all most a year and a half and have never seen that. plus i really doubt the processor in this phone would handle that.

Re: Split screen?

I don't think it's possible. The only available window states for the OS is Minimized (not visible), Normal (standard form with taskbar/menu bar visible), and Maximized (full screen with taskbar/menu bar not visible)

EDIT: Could be a good idea for one of the future WM6.5 builds or even WM7...

I know I saw an app like this once.. actually I think it's an old version of spb shell. I just googled for a bit and could find what I was looking for..
