TP as Stylus Tablet for PC

I was considering buying a stylus tablet for my laptop. Then I saw the price. I'll actually only be using it for writing financial equations in OneNote (typing all the symbols and such is just too slow).

Then I thought: Hey, I already have a touch-sensitive screen that attaches to my laptop. Shouldn't there be some way to use the TP as a stylus tablet input for my laptop?

If you have any idea how to do this, please let me know!

not quite the same
he is trying to use tpro as an external tablet
that will work in a lot of scenarios but not for input via stylus - and that is what the OP asked

Try this, you have to have Bluetooth connection but it should do the trick. http://www.infohtc.com/windows-mobil...h-ps3-support/

I'm not sure these are exactly what I'm looking for. I basically want to use the TP as a drawing pad for the laptop, like those Qualcom tablets that artists use.

I tested Gremote, and it looks like it might kind of work. Basically, I have to fire it up, then hold down the left click on my laptop while drawing with the TP. It's kind of awkward, and the results are barely legible, but maybe with practice...

I'll take a look at the other when I get a chance. Either way, thanks for the help!

Well, GRemote definitely won't work. It's way too awkward and slow using one hand to hold down the left click on my laptop and the the other to draw on the pad. Plus I can't just draw, because at the end of each drawn segment I have to move the cursor to the next spot before I can draw again.

I have been playin with mobiremote on my PS3 and the keyboard part is pretty cool. Have you tried it yet? It has a drawing area and two buttons on the screen.
