Stuck in Align screen Need Help!
 

I am stuck in the Align screen, and cannot get past it. I have had a bad screen for a while, so I am planning to take it to sprint to get it fixed on insurance anyway.

So I flashed back to the sprint rom but I still have an "Elite" symbol under Touch pro on the startup page. I need to get rid of that before I take it in. I also need to lock the phone, and switch back to the stock radio, but I am not sure how to do that with it stuck in the align screen page. HELP!

start by posting in tp2 forum. or is phone info not correct? i would try to reflash again.

My phone info is not correct, I have a touch pro... I will fix that. I have reflashed, then flashed to the sprint stock. 4 Roms are doing the same thing. I know my screen is messed up, and has been for a while.

I figured out how to get past the align screen but I won't have any touch screen capabilities, but now I need to get rid of the Elite from underneath the Touch Pro on startup, so that the sprint guys don't give me a hard time.

Did you flash it back to sprint shipped rom?
I believe in the elite thread they talk about that issue.

I ran into this issue after having loaded the BSOD boot image. Here is a zip, which contains an .nbh file that can be flashed from the SD card (no use of the touch screen required) that will put the initial TP boot screen back to original, where it just says Touch Pro.

Glad it worked for you too. Id just like to add that i took no part in creating that .nbh. It was found on this wonderful mobilephone site i frequent. I think its called pocketpoolnerds or something....... oh, ppcgeeks, that was it! :headbang:

Now I can't get it to relock. I am getting an error 260, after flashing back to shipped ROM... I think I am just going to bring it in and hope they don't notice.
